How Sales Tax is Applied
Sales tax is determined based on your billing address in the Quicknode Dashboard and is calculated automatically using the most current tax rates for your location. For more details, refer to the article Sales Tax Information.
Note: Your organization must be tax-exempt in the state where your billing address is located.
Keep Your Address Updated
Ensure your billing information is accurate by visiting your Quicknode Dashboard → Profile icon → Profile → Primary address.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When will sales tax apply to my existing account?
Sales tax applies to all invoices generated on or after December 2, 2025. Most existing customers will first see sales tax on their January 1, 2026, renewal invoice, but if you're invoiced for anything in December (e.g., upgrades), taxes will be applied.
Will sales tax rates vary by state?
Yes. Tax rates vary significantly by location and may include:
• State sales tax (varies by state)
• County taxes (if applicable)
• Municipal/local taxes (city or district-specific)
Rates are automatically calculated using your exact billing address to ensure accuracy.
How do I update my billing address?
1. Log in to your Quicknode Dashboard
2. Click your Profile icon in the top navigation
3. Select Profile from the dropdown menu
4. Update your Primary address information
5. Click Save - Tax calculations will update automatically for future invoices.
